Our story

From a single frame to a
cinematic identity

Alles begann, als Ben in seiner Gymnasiumsklasse einen neuen Schüler sah, der One Piece zeichnete. Dieser Schüler war James – und wir sind seitdem beste Freunde. Im Laufe der Jahre hatten wir viele verschiedene Projekte und Träume. Tatsächlich haben wir nicht mit Film angefangen, sondern mit Musik. Wir haben einfach gejammt und alte Guns n’ Roses Songs geübt. Hier ist unsere Leidenschaft für die Kunst gewachsen.

Wir haben jedoch beide unterschiedliche Berufswege eingeschlagen. Ben studierte an der PHLU und schloss sein Masterstudium in Sekundarstufe 2021 ab. James studierte Architektur an der ETH und schloss seinen Master in … ab. Ihr akademischer Hunger war damit jedoch noch nicht gestillt. 2027 werden sie ihre aktuellen Studien abschliessen: Ben seinen zweiten Master in Sonderpädagogik und James sein Studium in Cinematography, das er an der LA Filmmakers Academy in Hollywood, Los Angeles absolviert.

Jahre später war unser erstes gemeinsames Filmprojekt Bens erstes vollständiges Musikvideo. Und seitdem realisieren wir leidenschaftliche Herzensprojekte. 2025 haben wir beschlossen, die Filmproduktionsfirma zu gründen und Vision Cinematic ins Leben gerufen. Wir verfolgen unsere Leidenschaft nach wie vor – und haben dabei jede Menge Spass.

Dundup stiess ebenfalls 2025 dazu. Er ist verantwortlich für Aufgaben in der Vor- und Nachproduktion und hat die Website aufgebaut, auf der du gerade diese Zeilen liest.
